Dr. Kálmán Ferenc Egyed
The character of Professor Brinkmann of the Schwarzwald Klinik, better known to the older generation, was a character I really liked as an adolescent. I loved the direct, friendly, humane way he treated his patients. I was also impressed by his deep knowledge of his profession - and, in hindsight, his humility towards it. In my work, I would like to represent this attitude in my approach to the profession and to my Patients.
Even at the end of the longest day, I try to develop a spirit of partnership, equality and friendship between patient and doctor. I consider the building of trust to be key to the success of the healing and recovery process.
Ivalue professional development and like to apply innovative solutions to surgical techniques, and to this end I regularly participate in national and international orthopaedic training courses.
My fields of activity are hip and knee prosthetics, hip replacement using the so-called "muscle displacement technique", hip and knee replacement, and the treatment of fractures around prostheses.
I also deal with the implantation of prostheses for hip and knee replacement following an accident or fracture, so-called post-traumatic hip and knee replacement due to autoimmune rheumatological diseases.
"In my dealings with patients, following the example of Professor Brinkmann, I strive to be direct, friendly and humane."
