Occupational health The Act XCIII of 1993 on Labour Protection mandates that every employer must provide occupational health services (formerly known as occupational physician services) to all its employees. The main role of occupational health examination is preventive: its purpose is to assess the suitability for the job and to monitor the effects of workplace stress and occupational pathogenic factors.

Please be informed that we only conduct occupational health examinations for employees of employers who have a contract with us!

What is Occupational Health?

Occupational health is a specialized field of medicine that focuses on the physical and mental well-being of employees in the workplace. It aims to prevent health problems caused by working conditions, protect employees from potential risks, and promote a healthy work environment.

  • Physical symptoms such as persistent back pain, joint pain, headaches caused by work conditions

Categories of Occupational Health Examination

Occupational Health - Category "A"

This category covers activities with the highest risk hazard. Such activities include physical roles in mining, metallurgy, cancer-risk workplaces, those working with radioactive materials, jobs eligible for early retirement benefits, those working with unknown chemicals, and jobs in rail, air, and water transport that require specialized medical examinations. Also included in this category are employees who do not work in physical jobs, but spend more than 50% of their working time in an environment that justifies the "A" occupational health category.

Occupational Health - Category "B"

This category includes the following economic activities' physical employees:

Agriculture, wildlife management, forestry, construction, food and beverage manufacturing, tobacco product manufacturing, textile manufacturing, clothing product manufacturing, fur preparation and dyeing, leather preparation, leather goods and footwear manufacturing, woodworking, petroleum refining and coke production, manufacturing of chemical materials and products, manufacturing of rubber and plastic products, manufacturing of non-metallic mineral products, recovery of raw materials from waste, land and pipeline transportation, water transportation, air transportation, furniture manufacturing, healthcare and social services, veterinary activities, manufacturing of print products. Those who spend more than 50% of their working time in a work environment justifying the "B" occupational health category also require "B" category services.

Occupational Health - Category "C"

The "C" occupational health category includes physical workers involved in industrial, service, research, information technology activities related to a branch, sector, sub-sector, specialty sector not included in the "A" occupational health category, as well as employees in non-physical jobs who spend more than 50% of their working time in a work environment justifying the "C" occupational health category.

Occupational Health - Category "D"

This category includes employees involved in research-organizational, cultural, educational, and other administrative activities, as well as non-physical workers in the activities classified into the "A", "B", "C" occupational health categories and employees not classified into other categories.

The elements of occupational health examination belonging to each category differ from each other. The examinations are personalized and in the case of certain special jobs, they can be supplemented with further examinations. At Duna Medical Center, we undertake the occupational health examination of employees tailored to their needs. The examinations are conducted "under one roof" at a pre-arranged time.

Currently, there is no opportunity for audiological examination in our institution, we appreciate your understanding.
