As part of our musculoskeletal rehabilitation services, we also provide massage services independently for refreshing and energizing purposes. Therapeutic massage is a type of therapeutic massage used to heal and rehabilitate the body. During therapeutic massage, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues are targeted to improve their condition, relieve pain and stiffness, increase mobility and muscle tone, and reduce stress. Therapeutic massage can use different techniques, such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point treatment, etc. The technique and intensity used depend on the area to be treated and the type of disease. Remedial massage is usually a treatment performed by trained professionals such as masseurs or physiotherapists and is usually based on an individualized treatment plan.

Swedish Massage
Swedish massage (refreshing massage) promotes the correct functioning of movement functions, relaxes painfully tense, cramped muscles. The most common techniques of Swedish massage include kneading, rubbing, smoothing, and vibrating movements. Its goal is to increase local circulation. Improved blood flow also enhances skin elasticity, increases the blood supply to the muscles, and positively affects the respiratory center and the autonomic nervous system.
Therapeutic Massage
Therapeutic massage or medical massage is always a massage treatment performed based on medical prescription, which is based on the techniques of Swedish massage. Its goal is rehabilitation, restoration of muscle tone, improvement of local tissue circulation, improvement of the general condition of the body, and enhancement of tissue oxygenation and metabolism.
Massage is contraindicated in the following cases:
- Skin lesions, injuries, diseases
- Severe varicose veins
- Fever
- Infections
- First 3 months of pregnancy
- Beginning of menstruation
- Severe circulatory disorders
- Heart failure, pacemaker
- Malignant tumor
- Hemophilia
- Thrombosis
- Severe osteoporosis
- Epilepsy
- Severe psychiatric diseases
