His special fields of expertise are pediatric otolaryngology and audiology. During his 40-year career, in addition to treating outpatients, he performed more than 20,000 surgical interventions.

His devoted work has already been rewarded with numerous professional awards, in addition to the Pál Heim memorial medal, dr. He received the Ferenc Kállay Memorial Medal, the Békésy Award, the Czinner Memorial Medal, and the Cseresnyés Memorial Medal. However, he considers his greatest professional success to be the organization of the Children's Otolaryngology Congress in Budapest in 2008 and the writing of the textbook Children's Otolaryngology.
For 12 years he was a member of the board of the European Pediatric Otolaryngology Society, and for another 8 years he was the president of the Otolaryngology Department of the Health Professional College.
