Duna Medical Center is launching a unique programme, an infant first aid course, to help parents during one of the most important times of parenthood.
Baby First Aid Course

Over the past four years, more than 4,000 babies have been born at our institution, where families can receive support from pregnancy through to paediatric care, according to their individual needs.

Infant First Aid Course: Learn How to Save a Life

What should you do if the baby monitor alarm goes off, or if your baby suddenly stops breathing? In moments like these, every second matters, and having the right knowledge can be life-saving. The Infant First Aid Course at Duna Medical Center provides parents and caregivers with the essential skills they need to respond confidently in emergency situations.

Course topics include:

  • Recognising life-threatening conditions and calling emergency services
  • Infant resuscitation, including rescue breaths and chest compressions
  • Safe positioning techniques
  • Preventing choking and regurgitation-related incidents
