Birth Preparation Course

Birth Preparation Course

Dear Expectant Mothers and Their Partners,

Preparing for childbirth is not only a physical journey, but also an emotional and mental one. The aim of our Childbirth Preparation Course is to provide expectant mothers and their birth partners with comprehensive, reliable, and practical guidance during the weeks leading up to delivery and the postpartum period.

Throughout the course, participants will gain a clear and accessible understanding of the physiological process of labour and childbirth, the possible decision points that may arise, and the tools and techniques that can help support a safe, calm, and positive birth experience.

Why attend the course?

Conscious preparation for childbirth has been shown to reduce fear and uncertainty. Having the right knowledge helps parents navigate situations that may arise during labour with greater confidence, making it easier to ask questions, make informed decisions, and actively participate in the birthing process.

The course is led by our experienced midwives, who share their expertise in line with the latest professional guidelines while remaining attentive to each family’s individual needs in an open and supportive environment.

Meet the Midwives Leading the Course

The childbirth preparation course is led by two nationally recognised and highly experienced midwives, Katalin Király and Rita Schégerin, who have been actively involved in the maternity care services of Duna Medical Center for many years.

In their work, they place great importance not only on professional safety and evidence-based care, but also on compassionate support and ensuring that expectant mothers can make informed decisions based on real and reliable information.

During the course, they share not only their professional expertise but also their extensive practical experience, helping participants approach one of the most significant moments of their lives feeling prepared, confident, and reassured.
