This year's theme, "Our Nurses. Our Future. The economic power of care," underscores the vital role nurses play not only in healthcare but also in the economic well-being of societies. Nurses are the backbone of our healthcare systems, offering unwavering compassion, resilience and dedication. Their tireless efforts ensure the health and comfort of patients, often going beyond the call of duty.
As Florence Nightingale once said: "Nursing is an art: and if it is to be made an art, it requires an exclusive devotion as hard a preparation, as any painter’s or sculptor’s work."
